This talk didn't just start yesterday. They made the 1st bid on July 20. They had a good idea that they were losing Neymar then.

Yeah, and to think I was so close to buying the home kit with his name on the back this year... frick that noise now.

If you want a shirt with a name on it, buy it at the end of the season. Even if the player moves on, it still commemorates a time when he was on the team.

You still have to be 100% truthful about how bad you want to go and how far you are willing to take it. There is a difference between "I would like to go there, but wouldn't mind staying if a fee can't be agreed on" and "I really wish to move and will submit a transfer request if it doesn't happen."

Everything I've read indicates that he would like the move but wouldn't force his way out. Suddenly he hands in a transfer request the day before the season starts.

A pretty unenvious situation for FSG... their detractors are licking their lips either way..
IMO.. ultimately, I think its up to Klopp... If he wants him to frick off, FSG will sell and take all the heat for it..
