I unfortunately can't order mine until I get paid next week... But the WU patch doesn't bother me too much (especially knowing it's bringing 5M to the club every year)

As long as you order it before the 27th you'll be fine. If you order from the club's official store before the 27th they will mail you the WU patch separately.

But I'm not clear on whether the WU patch only comes if you get the PL patch or blank. My understanding is the CL patches cover both sleeves, and the PL patch only the right sleeve. I'm not sure if you are stuck with the WU patch if you order one blank.

I took no chances and ordered mine this morning. Blank.

Week then those are the best kept rumors ever concerning a rift between star player and coaches shite, LFC is covered inside and out head to toe by fanatics who print or post anything and nobody has heard this in six months. Listening to Pearce today he was in shock over the TR. I'll believe him over anyone. From what EVERYONE has been saying for months is that he would like to go but would not force his way out then he hands a TR in the day before the tucking league starts?

Note to self: Never order a Liverpool jersey with a South American's name on it.

Wijnaldum it is, then.

Sweet, I will order before then... And I think you're right pretty sure the WU patch is PL only... I will be ordering the 3rd kit with CL patches when those are available

And this is why I've never ordered a jersey with a player's name on it and I have a closet full of red jerseys now. Promised myself won't get attached to a player when Torres left.

However, remember even Stevie put in a TR. If we don't sell nothing has changed. Also, this is why I really wanted us to have a good transfer window. Add top players to the squad. It will make other players want to stick around and win. Life of an LFC fan. ARGHH!!!

Really good article at goal.com:

https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/liverpool-star-phil-coutinho-barcelona-begging-shows-money-rules-/4chjbuzq0feg156c4svz0slzv

quote:

Just seven months ago, Philippe Coutinho committed his future to Liverpool until 2022 and enthused: "I signed this contract to stay here for a few more years because it's a great honour for me.

"It gives me great happiness because I was welcomed here with open arms by everyone at the club and the supporters right from my first day. I am very thankful to this football club for everything."

What he forgot to add, though, was: "However, I’ll be off in the summer if Barcelona will have me."

Coutinho is considered one of football's nice guys: he is courteous, respectful and rarely gets into any trouble on or off the pitch.

Yet when push came to shove in the battle between Liverpool and Barcelona for his services, he's thrown his own club under the bus.

quote:

In football, contracts are now as meaningless as badge-kissing and Financial Fair Play. Only size matters and when the big clubs put big money on the table, players’ heads are inevitably turned.

In the current climate, every club is a selling club.

quote:

Consequenty, he should not have said he wanted to stay at Liverpool if he had no intention of doing so if Barcelona made an offer, which has always been a probability.

He should have just spared Liverpool a lot of problems by admitting as much after the first contact with the Catalans - not less than 24 hours before their Premier League opener at Watford.

Now the Reds must decide whether to keep an unhappy player or accept the money and somehow try to find a world-class replacement in the three remaining weeks of the transfer window.

Coutinho said he was "grateful" for everything that Liverpool had done for him. He has a very funny way of showing it.

I honestly don't think Phil would do this on his own.. I think he's getting pretty poor advice from his agent... telling him he can bully a move through... Barca telling him now or never..

In the end it's at his feet... but damn what a dirty business..

yeah, we def stand to benefit from that type of stuff too... I just wish we knew he wanted out two + months ago like VVD...

We don't have that "snap your fingers" pulling power like Barca... we worked the VVD/Keita deals for a long time...

I don't see how you can say this.

VVD has made his position clear since *May*, dude. Not 2 weeks prior to kickoff of the new season.

Is Southampton in Champions League? Europa League?

Similar?

I mean they did both just sign long term deals and commit to the clubs in the past year... getting a pay raise out of the club, with no intent to pay that good faith back..

There are definitely differences... One being, Barca didn't come for Phil in May..

Timing is everything... and this sucks, but at its essence, it's not very different..

and in the end, at 8/11/2017... both clubs are sitting with players that don't want to be there..

Who is the MF 3 tomm?

Gini, Hendo and Can.. or does Milner or Grujic get the nod with Can's late arrival to camp?

Procedurally similar, agreed.

Effectively *very* different.

Can Southampton pay near the wages that a Liverpool or Barca can?

Is Southampton playing in Europe (like Liverpool and Barca)?

Again, the "steps" they are taking align, but the circumstances differ GREATLY.

This is all Barca's doing: Barca tried to use LFC's CL qualification "Achilles heel" in their favour. An unsettling atmosphere was sold as one way out for Coutinho.

They did the same with Veratti and Dembele. They actually asked Dembele to quit training and throw a hissy fit. I fricking hope those thundercunts get stuffed by Real and they get fricked out of every competition they are in.

I think it will be the first 3 you mentioned. Hoping the team isn't too distracted from all this Bs, and that Coutinho will get his shite together and be somewhat helpful to us this season. Us not bringing midfield help so far looking like a poor decision. Anyways, Just looking forward to waking up at 6 to watch the boys. Up the reds! Nobody bigger than the club

I never said it was exactly the same, but come on, don't let your fandom blind you

It sucks when it happens to you, but it's similar to what's going on with VVD so can we really complain?
