Naeher has kind of settled in to the role. They were rotating alot a few years after the Olympics but she's good enough

It’s UnAmerican to not stand for the National Anthem (which I can understand) but it’s not unAmerican to root against the United States.

My wife, however, is actively rooting against the US, which I find hilarious because she doesn't care about soccer at all. She read an article about Rapinoe and Morgan on a plane and now she's issued a fatwa, basically.

Number one: that anthem and that flag DO represent our nation. Disrespect is disrespect.

The playing/singing/and observation of the anthem is not a time to "do something to garner eyeballs". It is a time to reflect on our nation and the sacrifice of those who have died to bring about and ensure its continued existence.

She hates and disrespects our nation, evidenced in her own words and deeds. She is free to do so. But she should not wear that crest if she hates it so. And we are similarly free to wish ill upon her for being a communist kuntbag.

I'm not rooting against uswnt or the USA; rooting against the USA is Rapinoe's thing.

So today's match is between the ladies who think they should be paid like boys and the ladyboys.

Well, she didn't kneel...which I can accept. We see many professional athletes stand but not sing for the National Anthem, so that's not uncommon.

Per the wife Morgan went on this rant about how the women's team has three jobs while the men just have one and how being paid less is unfair on that basis.

I don't think it was offensive or unpatriotic as much as it was stupid. It was something like "we have to be players, role models and guides for the next generation - DO THE MEN HAVE TO DO THAT!?!?!" Which obviously makes no sense and is a really dumb argument for why they should be paid more.

I think she did say something about not going to the WH but I only read the part I was shown.

Remember all the heat Jozy got when it was first noticed. even though it was pointed out he does it for religious purposes he still got alot of stink for it.
