I pull against them because Rapinoe should not be wearing representing the country if she won’t respect the anthem.
I have no problem with that stuff in the NFL, or doing it for your club. But if you’re going to wear the flag and colors I think you should be required to stand for the anthem.....don’t sing, hell don’t even put your hand over your heart, but at least stand with the rest of the team.

Idgaf about rapinoe taking a knee even a little bit.
I do take issue with them wanting equal pay to the men.
I’m all for them having equal accommodations, playing conditions and an equal percentage to what the men make. BUT that does not mean they should be paid the exact same amount. I’m assuming the men’s team brings in drastically more revenue than the women. None of that would make me root against them though.
I do think they are slipping, and the world is catching up to them. But I’m still USA all the way.

Agreed. I think it should be a set percentage of revenue.
The women know this is their payday though and their trying to take advantage. I don’t fault them for that and respect it. But they way they’ve gone about it has been pretty retarded

Misplaced anger and discontent. Is that what she’s really doing? Or is she doing this because people in general don’t give a frick unless you do something to garner eyeballs?

I think the issue that is currently weighing in the USWNT's favor is that most of the sponsorships that US Soccer makes money from isn't separated by team. Nike writes one check and they get both the men's and women's team. So US Soccer really can't say exactly how much money each team brings in.
