This chart of 2015-16 transfer spending in the EPL has some surprises...

- Watford (!!!) was No. 3 in net spending. They spent more than Arsenal, Spurs, Villa, Saints, Swans and Norwich COMBINED this season.
- I'm sure the numbers can change, but Tottenham's 53.4 in and 53.4 out is remarkable.
- Arsenal spent less than everybody, which kind of surprised me.
- United and Chelsea made profits in the January window!
- Lulz if Newcastle get relegated (they probably won't) after spending all that.

That Newcastle spending spells double drop if they don't stay up.

Yeah, that's about where I expected Arsenal. We bought an older #2 keeper (who may win POY if Arsenal finishes 1st) and a guy from the Swiss league. I expect that to change big time this summer with Arsene likely needing to replace the depth of Rosicky, Flamini, and Arteta.
