Besler was a rock.

He has to be getting looks from some European teams.

He's fast, has great feet, and always seems to know what the attacker is thinking.

I can't think of anything out of the handball (which happened quickly and wasn't the most stone wall penalty ever) that went against us.

Fabian should have without a doubt gotten a yellow and been out for the next game. I thought we got away with a lot really.

by the way, there shouldn't really be any bitching about the ref tonight. Fabian should have gotten a yellow. Jozy getting a yellow would have been soft, but another ref might have done it. Both guys would have been out of the next game.

We got lucky on a few, but for me it's when the awful calls came. The end of the match with a 1 goal lead is a bad time for the US to become tackling dummies for Honduras. The end of the match was disgraceful in terms of officiating.

I thought a good bit of calls that went to Honduras were incredibly weak. I get where youre coming from though.

OG is far from lost, still learning? yes. lost? no. He is also DOMINANT in the air on both sides of the ball.

I have been so impressed with the emergence of Matt Besler, his future is bright.

He did almost cost us a goal, but I can't think of anything else he's done wrong since he's come in to the team. He's been a rock. I still don't really trust Gonzo, but we'll see if he continues to develop.

Fabian still influences the game offensively even from LB. I'd like to see him start the WC at LB.

this. he's as good as we have at going forward from D, and he's not a liability in the back. Zusi and Donovan on the wings in Brazil.
