Good season lads. If it weren’t for the strength of LP, City would not be pushed to the level they are. Not too long ago 90 pts would guarantee the PL. The City+Liverpool rivalry makes the PL the best in the world.

Obviously take all transfer rumors with a huge grain of salt until you see a lean, but what an incredible signing this would be

I just want to beat Real Madrid’s arse next weekend. That’s all I am focused on. We’ll do little to nothing in the signing window as per usual (maybe that’s just bitterness from today), but we have one mission left for this season, and I want it so bad for the guys I can taste it.

1. Love Divock, without him we don’t win the CL. Club legend.

2. Today was top 5 most emotional I can remember watching football, up there with Istanbul and Barca home and away.

3. Gutted, but only halfway, if villa do their job and we lose, it would have been worse.

4. Stevie slipped up, again. All he had to do was prevent for 30 minutes.

5. We need to address the problem of our midfield letting us down, which imo has been our weakest link since we got Virg and Alli.

The one thing that stood out today was in the 2nd half you could see how gassed we were especially the defense. I can remember one time TAA and Matip were trying to track back on 1 of the numerous Wolves counters and you could tell they were just heavy legged and couldn't get back and I'm watching these wolves dude making like a Mexican making beeline for the border.

Oh and BTW Konate isn't going to keep getting away with shoving people over in the box.

I’m sure everyone is gassed at this point. We’ve played the most possible games anyone could in a season. Not to mention the AFCON guys

I’m trying to stay positive about the final next weekend, but when we lost to Madrid in the 2021 knockout stages their midfield was the huge difference. I would be confident with a fully healthy Hendo/Thiago/Fab…but a Hendo/Keita/rusty, not 100% Fab scares the shite out of me. Not to mention Madrid will be fully rested

I know we have to ride with Diaz Mane and Mo as the front 3 but I really think Bobby can be a difference maker. Which would have to be as a super sub I guess. His pressing would help our midfield out a lot

Apparently Thiago had a non major Achilles problem but it's obviously going to be a race to be fit for the final

The fact that he isn't ruled out is amazing (but you wonder if it's just mind games with Madrid)

I don’t see any way he plays unless it’s a case where he comes in for final 10 minutes to chase a goal. Fab should be in full training this week, which means the midfield 3 will be him flanked by Naby lad and Hendo. The front 3 will be Diaz, Mane, Salah. For me the only question is who starts next to virgil.

On one hand, Konates pace will help deal with their wingers. On the other, Matips head is better suited for marking a player like Benzema. An overlooked aspect of that decision may have to do with Thiago. Matip offers a better option passing from the back, which could be needed with our unimaginative options in the midfield. I would expect he’ll get the start and if we’re getting torched for pace to see Konate first off the bench. Would’ve felt a lot better about this game with Thiago and Fab together in the midfield. Our front 3 will be able to take advantage of their back line with spacing and movement, but I’m worried about naby and Jordan picking out those runs. Need a massive game from Trent and need Andy to be a lot better than he has been recently with his delivery in the final third.

If Trent can step up his game and put more shots on goal from range, which is a threat that we don't have at all, I think it frees up more space up front for Mo and whoever is in the middle.

At least a few times per game, trent is on the edge of the box with no one near him. if he can bury a few of those and put people on notice, we wouldn't be so stifled by a low block. Long distance shooting is what city have that we lack.

Konate had a terrible game yesterday. I would start Virg and Matip. No doubt.

We look as tired as I have seens us in awhile yesterday. I hope they get a good rest in this week.

We have looked suspectible to the ball over the top, especially when Fab is not on the field. We're going to have to play well this weekend.

Now all reports saying Tchouameni is Madrid bound. Guessing we’ll target the PSV midfielder

Yeah couldn’t think of his name off top of my head haha

Some potential good news this morning…

Any idea on how much $? Would think we just use it to bring in another young LW/CF and a CM.

Also, no idea what this guy is smoking:
