The moment you've all been waiting for: HH's Euro 2020 Iron Clad Prognostications

The 2020 European Championship of 2021 kicks off today, and you've all been waiting to hear what I think about the tournament, so here we go!
First of all, if you pick all chalk, you're a hoe. I'm not a bitch so you may see some things you disagree with.
If you want to bet the easy favorite, the safest money, go France. They're stacked beyond belief, really not many weaknesses. But I'm old enough to remember Raymond Domenech picking teams based off of the stars and crystals. I'm old enough to remember the likes of Nicholas Ankela, Samir Nasri, Hatem Ben Arfa, Abou Diaby, etc. I'm hoping and praying for a French collapse here. They're way more entertaining when they hate each other. I think stupid sexy Olivier Giroud and Karim Benzema being in the team could cause some conflict. Also Zizou reportedly angling for the job from the aggressively mediocre Didier Deschamps could cause some pressure there.
Now let's say you do not want to be a bitch. Here are some other betting options that I think are worth a flyer. . .
Italy +800 to win the tournament
I know, I know. . . but, they're really good right now. Mancini has implemented an identity for the Azzurri. They play an attacking, open style with an elite keeper, and a solid defense. I like their midfield a lot even without Verratti. Jorginho, Barella, and Locatelli cover a lot of ground and are good on the ball.
I don't love their strikers of Immobile and Belotti but I love their wingers of Insigne, Chiesa, Berardi, and Bernardeschi. If their strikers can be clinical, they have a chance to really wear teams down.
Portugal +310 to win Group F
The favorite and easy money is on France. Germany is another good option. I do not trust Jögi, but with Neuer in net and Hummels back, I like the spine of their squad. Will Kimmich play at right back or will they play him in the center of midfield? He's world class at either spot. My biggest worries for Germany are coach and Werner finishing opportunities, but you know I will be rooting for my boys.
Portugal is a good bet here because I like the value. The only thing I don't like about Portugal is their center mids, but that's a big one obviously. I love their attack, I love Ruben Dias, and you gonna count on Cristianito not scoring? Not me.
Here's how I see it playing out with some outliers and surprise picks because nobody likes chalk:

Belgium vs Germany would be a hell of a second round match-up.
Only prediction I really disagree with is Poland vs Croatia and maybe being too bullish on Italy but it certainly looks like a reasonable prediction.
Also I know you picked Macedonia to be this year’s Iceland and to not go straight chalk and that would be very exciting.

Italy is my bet as well. They look very good and far more attacking then normal. This isn't your dad's 1-0 Italy team.

Belgium vs. Germany and England vs. France would be a lot of fun. Let’s restart the Hundred Years’ War

Good stuff. I already told my friend I'm hoping for another Italy France end. Yes Italy beat France in the 2006 World Cup final to get more than revenge for the 2000 Euro, Wiltord's extra time goal was kinda bs. But this would be pretty sweet.
As usual, wouldn't mind a nation that's never won it..maybe Croatia.

My 3 hottest of hot takes:
1) France doesn't get out of Group F
2) Denmark makes the Semi-Finals
3) England wins the tournament

I understand their lack of success
But is this a hot take if they’re one of the odds on favorites?

England is very talented. What sucks is if they win their group, they'll have to play the runner up in Group F (Portugal, France, or Germany) so they could very easily go out in the first round of the knockouts.

I’ve seen anywhere from +450 to +550
And by “I’ve seen” i mean FanDuel and DraftKings

My official prediction for this afternoon's opener:
Italy wins 2-1. Bet to make Over 2.5 goals (+114)
Goals: Nicolò Barella, Leonardo Bonucci (ITA)| Burak Yilmaz (TUR)
The smart money is on the under 2.5 goals. Turkey has the possibly the best defense in the tournament. Italy doesn't have a standout striker. My feeling is that we're going to see goals in this tournament. This match is in Rome. Italy is back in a major tournament after the last WC disaster. I think they're hyped up and I think they go for it.
DISCLAIMER - If you take betting advice from me, you're an idiot.

Anybody want to take a guess on who the breakout player of the EUROs will be, only for them to be bought by a new club for an inflated price this summer?
My guesses: Belotti or somebody from Poland/Portugal.

Federico Chiesa is going to make his $40 mil purchase price by Juve look like a bargain.
