Mustafi and Xhaka have had too many moments where they lose focus. I wonder if it's just their makeup or if a disciplined manager could mold them into complete players.

Auba scores when he wants!!!

Now we're cooking with fire. Very nice from Welbz.

Is Bellerin’s passing always this bad or just an off day?

nm- just looked on WhoScored and he’s at 82% accuracy today.

He usually plays safe passes. When it comes to putting a ball in the box or making an incisive pass he struggles.

Great ball from Iwobi. He's been good today. Hopefully he is regaining form.

Like that win, not the strongest side but once jack went in the level dropped a bit. He's struggling for fitness.

Basically put a passenger in midfield.

Xhaka has been better with his mental focus. Mustafi just does stupid shite all the time.

Mustafi is Vermaelen 2.0. Moments of brilliance defending, and some good contributions going forward and goal scoring, but just way too aggressive coupled with poor decision making.

I think our offense is fine going into next year, maybe add a young, pacy, tricky winger. Christian Pulisic? But we legitimately could improve all back 6 positions defensively. New goalie, new DM, new RB, CB to replace Mustafi, and Koscielny and Montreal are still great but getting up there in age

I've just never seen a defender leave the ball for the keeper on a cross coming into the 6 yard box.

I wonder if Bellerin will get back to his amazing form from a year+ ago. Definitely need Keeper, Center Backs, and Defensive Mid(unless you are fine with Elneny). A left full back is just for cover/future after Monreal.

And to Sandperson, 5th might not be out the realm of possibility with Chelsea seemingly falling apart these last few weeks.

Desperately need a DM. Xhaka is not the answer.

Xhaka and Ramsey work fine in certain games. We do need another defensive minded mid who can play with them in a 3 against big sides. Or with Ramsey in a two. Kante, basically.

Ozil establishing himself on the wing means we can play 4-3-3 so we'll need at least one CM, probably two.

Mustafi is a moron sometimes and I don't trust him, and Kosc isn't dependable anymore because of age and injury, so we'll need at least one, if not two CBs.

And I noticed rewatching yesterday that not only did Mustafi want Cech to come get the ball (not to excuse his shitty defending) but Holding wanted Cech to come on Austin's rolling sliding attempt. We need a keeper who can move and come off his line. Cech's done.

Attack is fine. Maybe one more true winger.

With signing another LB are we calling Kola a bust? We need the summer to get stronger up the middle for sure, and to resign Ramsey to an extension. Will be interesting to see what they do a CB. I think pick up one CB, sell Mustafi, then let Chambers/Holding battle for the other spot. Or see how good Dinos is at that point. DM is a must. Xhaka has stepped up as of late as well.

It will take multiple windows to fit all the signings we need and/or want. Especially if we hire a new manager. I'm positive we will sign a CB. GK and CM seem to be on the agenda also. Those 3 would take up most of our transfer budget unless we bargain shop. That means we have to sell people if we want to bring in more new signings.

I'm not against selling Mustafi and bringing in a second CB this summer. Jack may not sign a new contract so he needs replacing. We also need a backup RB. Im just not sure our front office is capable of pulling off that many transfers in a WC summer.

1000% he does. I don't think he should but no way he steps down.

No question. Did Gabriel leave because he hated England or because Wenger did not rate him? We could use him for sure.

I think we just sold him for 10 million, which was way too low.

As far as needs, definitely need a center back and defensive midfielder. An elite winger would also be great.

Some news:

Reiss Nelson close to agreeing new Arsenal contract.
Mohamed Elneny has his red card overturned.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is out for the rest of the PL season, but may be back for Europa final if Arsenal make it that far.

Good. That red was bullshite, and I like that he is getting his chance to play in EPL matches, even if they are meaningless at this point.

So, he's missing 3 important matches. Hopefully, Welbeck or Iwobi can fill in nicely.
