Maybe he will be hired by Fox in 2022 after Gus shits the bed in 2018. Or maybe he will keep going until 2026. If Vin Scully can do it at 88, he can do it at 76, right?

Ian Darke is overrated, but Gus Johnson is probably the worst major announcer I've ever heard. And he sucks equally at like 10 different sports.

i'm not a huge fan of ESPN due to it's bias and putting itself out there as some kind of moral compass, but they've been a HUGE part of the growth of soccer in this country and I hate that they lost out to FOX on this
