He's just not good at this. I don't understand pulling a guy like this in to do this type of stuff

ESPN should be embarrassed to have this jackass on along with Micheal Ballocks lack of English.

He definitely doesn't look comfiortale up there...

I guess those comments by Ballack will infuriate some, as well...

that last exchange about Rossi playing for Italy was funny..

Rossi - 'it really wasnt a decision at all, i knew since i was a kid.. it was my dream'

Ballocks - 'and Italy is better.. better chance of winning something.. sorry(to Alexi)

Alexi - 'i wouldnt be too sure about that'

Rossi looked very uncomfortable, Ballack does lack experience commenting and fluency in English, and Lalas is just plain boring and his jokes are not funny.

But, cheers to ESPN for airing the EURO

Rossi was terrible. Didn't think it could get worse than Alexi...they however raised the bar with that benedict arnold.
Everyone couldn't understand why I started yelling american rants when the post game came back on

I think it's just a combination of a guy being extremely nervous, muttering quite a bit, and having a touch of the English accent from his years in England. Didn't detect an Italian accent on Rossi.

Ballack is awful in the studio. His voice trails off in the last half of each sentence. Way to go, ESPN. You hire the only German who speaks poor English

I thought it was comical how Lalas and Ley kept trying to get him to throw Swagotelli under the bus and he wouldn't bite. I imagine after the cameras went off he was like "look, I know yall don't like me because of my decision, but please stop trying to get me killed here man."

basically that Rossi chose the better and more talented team that gave him a chance "to win something".

After Rossi said he decided to play for Italy when he was 4 and not 17, Ballack laughed and said, you'll also have a chance of winning something and then looked at Lalas and said sorry while laughing more...

Are ESPN retarded? Why are they putting these jackasses on TV when serious American fans don't like either one of them?

Ballack is fan damn tastic. Sublime low key comedy at times, and good commentary.

Lalas is a horse's rear end.
Ley is a humungous growth on said rear end.

Rossi is someone's idea of a bad joke I believe.

I don't dislike Ballack, just his lack of English. I think he's improved with each day
