I keep hoping FIFA does what happened in my Football Manager save and they change it to Australia in 2020.

Why will this mess that up? Won't there just be a winter break for the WC?

You'll have to make up for lost time somewhere. Either start the season earlier or end it later.

Ask Bill Clinton, he went there to get us the Cup, took bribes from Qatar and suddenly we went from lock to nothing.

He would be one of the men who would know

On the bright side, it's one of my favorite parts of the year, and this should only help

Plus most of us can use it to get over our college football season disappointment

Because it will be 175 degrees in the summer in Qatar.

This also is news perhaps because it tells us that Qatar has given up looking for co-host and possibly expanding the tournament before 2026 like Infantino was putting pressure onthem to.

Considering the amount of money in the country and all of the problems that would have to be ignored I can only imagine.

Clinton didn’t have a vote so I am not sure how a last minute bribe would affect him.The fix was in the whole time.

He was there to use his charm on FIFA for the USA bid. And suddenly Qatar made it rain to the Clinton Foundation, and Qatar comes out as winner. Billy did nothing to help the USA bid, except maybe bang a few fat broads and planted his american seed.

According to Wiki... the average high in Doha is over 100F from May to September and is over 105F from June to August

the record highs are in triple digits from March to November

the record highs in June & July are over 120F

also... Doha apparently gets literally 0 rainfall from June to September and it barely drizzles in October

ETA: it's 8 PM there now and it's still 98F
