World Cup year in which we had no true competitive games, a very good manager in Berhalter, who seemed to have a cohesive group, we divide the team by firing him because he got beat in a South American tourney with 10 men, but it was really because of a skinny DORTMUND GUY who is not even a good player, all because Claudio Reyna and wife popped off.
I remember saying at the time it was another Klinsman type mistake. I don't even watch anymore, the excitement is gone, the forward thinking is gone, thus guy sees American players and thinks he has no chance.
They have time, they should rehire Berhalter, this guy has always been a bum. He had Garry Kane and Son and never win shyt.

Our winningest ever coach. Turned around a program that didn’t qualify for the WC the previous cycle and got to the knock outs with the youngest team in the tournament. Fantastic record against Mexico. Recruited key dual nationals. Won three consecutive nations leagues. Not bad for a “tard.”

no, i loathed jurgy, and used to post his Hertha failures on here to show the jurgy lovers how mediocre he was.

Poch is an abject failure and the national team is an embarrassment right now.
He can only redeem himself if he can win a knockout game in the WC, which hasn’t happened since 2002. I have zero confidence he can change that trend.

68 winning percentage, Bruce Arena was next at 66, he owned Mexico, the facts are he did OK in the South America tourn. and got fired because a selfish player got a Red Card. He has done far better than the current coach, Now it could be that not having competitive games has the team sleepwalking lately, played much better tonight.
