Every City fan knew this was his last season before anything was announced.

I'll disagree. They don't owe Pell anything. The man got paid millions to do a job and he was given a squad worth hundreds of millions.

coming from the fan of club who the majority of it's support did not want him to last the season...thus he gets no farewell speech if fired. Comparing apples to oranges? is comparing an outgoing manager who has been lame-duck for months and basically not achieved any of the clubs goals for the season and limped out of the Champions League to a manager who has had been heckled and booed all season by his club's fans? sure.
