I think we need to win Monday. I know, I know, we need to win every match. But realistically, to have ANY shot at 3/4, we need to win at least 3 of the 4 left - and probably tie the 4th. If we don't win against Watford, that means we have to win the remaining 3, and I don't think the squad has enough competitiveness, heart, and winning mentality to thrive under that pressure.
Lallana and Studge back in training - Studge will likely stub his toe and be out a month, but Lallana will add some MUCH needed creativity to our attack.

LFC matches remaining:
@Watford
Southampton
@West Ham
Middlesbrough
ManU dropped points again today with a draw against Swansea (which should have been a loss against Swansea except the official awarded ManU a penalty kick off of an obvious Rashford flop). As of now, they no longer have games in hand and they trail by 1 pt (and 2 in GD).
Their remaining matches:
@Arsenal
@Tottenham
@Southampton
Crystal Palace
It would be nice to see the final-game-of-the-season mojo work against a team besides Liverpool for once.
ManC is at halftime against @Middlesbrough, with Boro up 1-0. With a win, ManC would be in 3rd place up by 2 points with no games in hand. If they come back for a draw, they will be in 3rd place, tied with Liverpool in points but ahead in goal differential (by however many goals they score in the draw). A loss keeps ManC in 4th place, trailing Liverpool by 1 pt, ahead of ManU in GD, with no games in hand.
After today, ManC has these remaining matches:
Crystal Palace
Leicester
West Brom
@Watford
Liverpool needs to have a killer instinct at this point and take care of critical business.

Both ManU and ManC are being carried by the officials today.
Obvious flops in the penalty area in both games.
Penalty kicks awarded for both.

2 draws. Can't complain about that.
ETA: I hope Boro is confirmed going down prior to our game against them.

What puts us ahead of City in the table? A quick look had us even on points and goal differential... whats the next tie breaker?

thx! the table I was looking at didn't have that info. in it...

Does head-to-head ever come into it?
By the way, the EPL has to come up with some kind of post-game review and punishment for diving. The amount of diving today that was being rewarded by officials was ridiculous.
I think that's one of the amazing thing about our little Brazilians. They'll be damned before they flop around like a fish. I'm thinking they have too much pride in their game for that.

Massive game tomorrow after the results this morning. I'd imagine most people are joining me in hoping for the best, preparing for a major let down

Count me as apprehensive. Now if we were playing Cheslea I would feel ALOT better.

Me as well. Injuries have been brutal down the stretch. Just trying to limp in now.

I have today off, so I will be watching live... If we cant get 3 points here (and in the remaining games), then we really don't deserve UCL...
That said... it's a great opportunity, with the other teams, other than CFC and THFC, not really wanting to step up either..
If we do happen to make it, FSG really have to back Klopp to bolster the squad this summer... we probably need 2-3 experienced players for the starting 11 and quality depth (which can be youth)...

I think 3 at the very least. If we want to wage war on 3-4 fronts for real than a number of players that are starting right now should be on the "Cup" or "FA" XI.

I think LB/LCB are a must...
I think we need either a starter level pacey wide forward or #9... just to mix things up and give different looks
