Nice write up about Young Germans who could wear the Stars n Stripes

Didn't see a thread, but this is a pretty cool write up from Bundis site.
Bayern is USA Soccer East. Many German born kids who can wear the stars n stripes. Are the majority of these kids, from Armed forces parents?

Realistically if we could get 2-3 of these kids, especially some that play LB, it would be a success.

You bitch about the US not making the World Cup but the german Americans didn’t feature much in qualifying and I would argue that having Johnson at left back, Williams in midfield, and a healthy Brooks would have almost guaranteed us qualification. Oh and I bet Mexico is crying really hard about a fake Mexican representing their country in j Gonzalez. Not. At least these guys want to play for us despite us being a shite show right now. They don't want to play for us, that's the whole problem. They want to play for Germany but they aren't good enough. If they want to play for us then play for us in the youth ranks from the get and don't wait until you realize option A isn't going to work out.

None of the German-Americans played or were even on the bench against T&T. Name a player on that roster that was playing for the US because they couldn't make the team for another nation.
