Will Mike Ashley finally pull the trigger and sell the club?

Will Steve Bruce survive the season?

Can Joelinton get to double-digit goals in this year's campaign?

Can Joe Willock be the savior we desperately need?

Will the Magpies be competing for tGoatship title next season?

Can DS and myself make this thread go a full season?

Toon in, if you dare.

I thought Newcastle actually looked really good today.

Assuming no injuries, I think they have a chance to crack the top 15 this season

There's promise with this team and West Ham is very solid top right team. We also had the lead at the half to kick off another season of losses at St James Park (six wins at home last season). Their ceiling is a repeat of last year, with sneakily ending 12th and maybe competing for a top-ten position.

The Saudi deal was blocked and the appeal was delayed until next year. I heard others has tried to put an offer in but the word is that Ashley is holding off because the Saudi group is willing to pay more than what the club is worth.

No. The Saudis offered too much money. Its them or bust because Ashley won't take less than the 300m they promised; hell, he even tried to con more out of them.

Yes he is Ashley's puppet so he won't complain about spending and won't get fired.

Can Joelinton get to double-digit goals in this year's campaign?

Newcastle deserves a better owner than Ashley. Fans are beyond frustrated and if that appeal doesn’t go through next year, Newcastle may burn to the ground.

Steve Bruce needs to go too. His defensive oriented game plan and poor lineup Sunday were an abject failure. Shelvey is a lazy overrated turd. We desperately need to sign another striker and defender if we don't want to get relegated.

Week 2 vs Aston Villans, let's have it!

Willock IN
Jonjo OUT
Woodman IN
Bruce IN (for now)

Dúbravka has an infected wound on his hand. Darlow is still ruled out with COVID.

Not a good game today. Started strong but made too many mistakes. Willock didn't get his 8th straight goal in matches played. Also tough to play 2v1 against AV and VAR.

Current mood- FFS

Something I've learned this in this young campaign: Newcastle is allergic to the claret and blue. 0-3-0 is quite amazing, really, for the Magpies. Players must see those colors in their nightmares when they lay their heads down on their black & white striped pillow.

Current mood

Next up is Southampton, which does not wear claret and blue.

Scrolled through the thread quickly and just assumed that was Darlow being nice giving away a PS5 to someone. Then I read it again and saw the account was asking for money.

First point of the year. Should have been 3. VAR-5 NUFC-0 on the campaign.

So we picked up no one but Willock? We are definitely going down. Ashley is trying to take the focus off of Bruce by being an even bigger douche.

Yep, besides Willock they picked up a teenage Mexican striker who will play for the U23 squad and... that's about it. January window is going to be a letdown as well, even if the team is looking up from the bottom of the table.

There is no doubt in my mind that Mike Ashley does not care about NUFC or it's fans. If they stay up it will be in spite of his actions as owner.

I agree, but he cares about money and getting relegated is going to be a massive monetary hit for him. He let us get Willock on loan last year because we were sliding to the bottom.
