Never thought I'd say this, but the USSF needs to give Bob a blank check.

For real though, I don't think we'd get a Rico Clark world cup midfield if Bob came back. Whether it's been in Egypt, France, LA, even Swansea, he has shown how much his tactics have evolved.
We'd be dumb not to seriously consider him if/when Gregg gets the boot.

I like Bob but going back to him would be so US Soccer of us.
Better than now? Almost certainly but we need to push forward with new ideas and methodologies.

I love me some bunker Bob. Probably the last time we had a coach with a cogent philosophy that got the most out of our pool and played to our strengths. But then again he is an MLS manager now so saying he is a decent coach probably makes me a bootlicker.
