that’s basically what I was thinking. against a team like Russia I don’t want either of them trying to be a DLP. feels too conservative. the two of them are like permanently 10 yards away from the CB’s

Definitely - but they’re currently having the same problem they did against Denmark. It’s like they can’t figure out who collects the ball or who distributes the outlet pass or makes the play. They’re both trying to do it all and that may not work.
