Yes, and I hope it's a success and that Grant Wahl gets really pissed off about it.

Other than a pissy tweet, what has Wahl done to be an enemy to GFOPs?

What has he done outside of his Beckham book? If you read the stuff he writes for SI, you find out pretty fast that he doesn't have his finger on the pulse of the USMNT.
His claim to fame is when he tried to run for FIFA Prez, which is why it was so comical when he called out Bennett for not being serious.

So he's what, an insecure hypocrite?

Maybe, maybe not. I'm not sure it's black and white like that.
He is clearly jealous that MiB hit the mainstream during the World Cup while only a handful of soccer fans probably could pick out Wahl if he was walking down the street.

Roge is an Everton fan... TFTC is a Pool fan. I think that must explain it. I mean it has to. There is no way anyone in their unbiased mind could possibly find anything wrong with dear Roger.

They played their theme song for the show on the most recent podcast and it is tremendous

Ha...
Its OK for a bit, but then he just won't shut up with his carrying on...
On the sirius Show, they'd just get off on these tangents when I just wanted to hear them talk footy... I didn't want to hear about who had the best pies, etc..

"Van Gaal is being very demanding of Wayne Rooney, asking not only that he captain this team, but that he learns English within a year."

Holy shite, this. These guys are awesome for a very simple reason. They're complete fanboys about our team and have been long before they ever "blew up". Rog may have something to gain from all of this, but Davo doesn't need this whatsoever. Yet, they both have put a ton of effort into getting this all rolling.
I've listened to every pod they've done, and I've got their Best Of album. I understand in a way why Rog wouldn't be your favorite at times. He does make a lot of the same jokes over and over (See Dana Plato, "ginger of beard", etc). In my opinion, though, those jokes are funny, and his audience really hasn't been consistent enough not to use them. Sure, I hear them a lot because I listen to and watch literally everything they do. A lot of people haven't heard of them at all until the World Cup, and they're just now getting into it.
Personally, I'm going to support anything they do because the amount of effort they put into hyping up the USMNT and trying to get some good soccer talk in America. Rog was behind creating and getting the USMNT's March to Brazil on air. They hold all of these events, such as the send off for the World Cup. They keep people informed. They do a very important job in the American soccer community, and that's keeping the casual and diehard fans both happy and knowledgeable.
I think they'll continue to blow up (as much as possible here). They're incredibly likable. They come off as just a (excuse the incoming bad Brit stereotype) couple of blokes down at a pub discussing football, and that's something American soccer lacks. Everyone wants to be something "important", whether that's an insider, authority, or an expert on the American game. These guys are just having fun with it, and they really enjoy talking to each other. They speak as fans and don't talk down to their listeners, which a LOT of American soccer pods and journalists tend to do.

That's one of their biggest draws. They talk about it, but they're not just hammering you with stats and discussing minute details. I love hearing them talk about things off-topic. Reminds me of how English commentators make jokes and shite during matches. I love hearing them making jokes about Gary Taylor-Fletcher looking hilariously out of place as top tier athlete or him hyphening his name because he's a "modern man" as a laugh. It's the raw, unpackaged, unfiltered discussion of the match and football by pundits and commentators that make the English more appealing when calling the match, in my opinion. They don't take it too seriously, and they keep a raw, joking, brutally honest vibe to it. I'll still never remember Martin Tyler's comments on Robert Green after he fumbled Deuce's shot into the net in 2010. "That really doesn't happen in schoolboy play, because it's tough on schoolboy goalkeepers to say that they would make a mistake like that." That sort of shite is just what I love about the game so these dudes talking about it with that vibe while keeping it pro-US Soccer is awesome as shite to me. That's just me, though.
