That’s karma, Arsenal are a straight mid table la liga shithouse team.

Kai Havertz man of the match!
What a gritty match...this squad may actually be building something here

I was able to watch a replay finally, and I say this as someone that doesn't get too bent out of shape by the match officianting... that might be the worst bit of reffereing I've ever seen.

Losing 1-0 to Southampton at home is peak 24/25 United, they are absolutely dominating us right now.

That's an all-time blunder. Professional footballers should never miss that. Antony has to go

Amad saves it for us at the end with 2 goals in 10 minutes, just gotta hang on.

This is all on Ineos/Glazers we have spent however many 100s of millions and the players are just not good enough. I seriously think we have 1/2 players that get in that Brighton squad.
Starting to think this is irreversible. Ineos basically invested in the club to keep the glazers as majority owners and we are still being the worst run club in the prem.

It’s on Glazers
We are in year one of INEOS influence
They put that statement out today about despite all the revenue. The club was being in an unsustainable manner before they got in.
Dont forget most owners inject money into their club. The Glazers owning United cost the club money for years because they took payments out of the club.

This club has been everybody's free meal ticket for a long time...I don't understand how people criticize INEOS/Ratcliffe for any financial decisions at this point. Do they know how to run a successful top flight club? That remains to be seen, but I see a lot of media figures dumping on them for making spending cuts and raising ticket prices (like most other clubs around Europe) but don't see much gratitude for being the only party investing directly into the club.
If they don't back Amorim and let him become broken and disheveled like every United manager post Fergie, then I will be concerned. I'm not convinced it's even in INEOS's power with Joel and Avram behind the scenes...I guess we will see. United will be a relic after 4-5 more years of this shite.

A lot of overpaid EFL talent on United's squad. No dominant Center Back, or Goalkeeper for that matter, zero presence in the midfield , and nearly no presence facing the goal. The Glazers use United as a collateral hedge, and as long as Supporters keep believing in pipe dreams, like Radcliffe as the Savior, nothing will ever change. Complete disengagement from the Glazers, and their Cronies on the Board, is the only thing that will save United.

I criticize INEOS, because he boasted of being such a huge United fan. Also was spouting off at the mouth about hiring the best in class. He should have known not to get in bed with the Glazers, who are actual criminals IMO. Do I think Ineos had good intentions? Yes, but they are in way over their heads. It's probably an impossible job at the moment.
Glazers should have never been allowed to purchase the club with a leveraged buyout. Now we have to pay $61,000,000 in interest payments every single year because of that debt. What's hilarious is they are trying to sell Garnacho for around $60 mil, highly doubt that money will immediately reinvested into the squad. The stadium is literally rotting, 2nd rate training facilities, 2nd rate medical team, 2nd rate recruitment, etc.
The club should have been sold in full with a clean wipeout of the debt, but INEOS gave The Glazers a lifeline. Anyone who doesn't think the Glazers are pulling the strings are delusional, any time they show a news reel of United's board meeting you'll see Joel Glazers sleazy arse walking into the meeting.
Word is the glazers are holding out because they think there will be a boom in value of clubs post the US World Cup, they think United will be worth $10 billion in a few years. Only then will they finally cash out, hopefully.

It's not that I don't agree with pretty much everything you said, I just don't fault the only party that, at face value, seems to be interested in helping get United back on track. What was painfully obvious after the sale fiasco was that either 1): the Glazers had no intention of a full sale from the beginning or 2): the INEOS bid was the only real offer on the table. Like you said, I believe they are holding out for a bigger payday and sold a minority interest only in an attempt to save face.
I just don't believe any of that leads to blame for INEOS. They are on deck for culpability though, in my opinion. If they sell young academy talent like Garnacho and don't bring in players to support Amorim, then I will cross the picket line on INEOS.
Edit: I also just read that the rumors that the Glazers won't let United staff or players anywhere near Tampa Bay facilities during their American tours because they don't wont anybody to realize how far behind they are. Don't know how accurate that is but it still pisses me off.

Old Trafford finished its last expansion/renovation the year before Glazer bought the club, it hasn’t been touched since then. It’s sad to see just how absolutely shite things are.
I don’t think Ineos has bad intentions they just should have known how dire our financial situation is. We are literally operating with two hands behind our backs. You have to spend mega bucks to revamp a football team and we just cannot do that due to the debt and how that effects our FFP each season.

United sign Left Wingback Patrick Dorgu from Lecce in Italy. Reportedly for 25 million euros. We haven't had a fit left back in 18 months, finally no more Dalot at LWB

Posted on 1/29/25 at 8:08 am to Broyota2
30M euros plus a potential of 5M in add ons according to Romano. Another one we overpaid for but that was always going to happen in the winter window.

I know Malacia is coming off injury and is just now making his way back. Wasn't he supposed to be the left back in the previous regime(s). Does this signal his inevitable departure?
