United had several opportunities to score in the first half like they have in the past few games and didn't finish them. Thank God for Casemiro. Sancho was poor today. Rashford wasn't much better. Martial needs to man the frick up and start playing games. We probably win today with Rashford on the left and Martial through the middle.

The rub is it is a foul…but it goes uncalled on every corner and most aerial balls every game.
You can find someone locking their arms around someone to varying degrees 3-4 times a game. To call it there is chicken shite.
If you think it’s a penalty you don’t watch must soccer, bc it happens often.
Edit: Just rewatched the highlights and the announcers literally say “how often do you see that happen and not given”

They don’t call shirt pulling and pushing, but the fact that mctominay held on for so long and it happening out in the open instead of in the middle of the pack left him with no choice. If broja doesn’t fold like a cheap suit and sell to the home crowd yeah it won’t get called.

Just saw this and it was an absolute pen everytime. Yea , people get away with wrapping their arms around players often when it's hidden and the player doesn't go to the ground. Hell, Maguire does it every time he plays. That doesn't mean it wasn't a pen when it was in everyone's face. Mctominay wraps him up, holds him back, and Broja falls to the ground. That same occurrence would be called 100% of the time. So once again, I'll say that Mctominay was a dumbass and gave up a sure penalty right after coming on the pitch. It was bad.
Now on to the game against West Ham. Glad Rashford scored his century mark, but man, United had chances to put that away early and just didn't take them. The last 20 minutes of the match were nerve-wracking.
