We should absolutely drag TAA and LiVARpool next week.

Haaland on the bench. Resting for the Liverpool match I presume.

Meh

I feel like City doesn't go for the jugular in some UCL games when they can and it ends up hurting them down the road in the competition

Well, VAR completely fricked City today: took away a goal and upgraded a yellow card to red. Not much to do after that. A point is fine. Better to rest Haaland and Foden.

TAA and Matip out but it's still pool at pool. I fully expect a 1-0 loss with us taking 129087590309 shots.

Why are people trying to make Haaland to Madrid a thing this coming summer?

I dont think anyone is thinking this summer(2023), its the summer of 2024.

But that doesnt really matter, if the phantom $175mil release clause is true, I dont see it happening.

Soccer has the most drama, misinformation, and flat out BS claims when it comes to player transfers.

Id rather have gone all in on the Copenhagen game, got the 3 points, the rested the last 2 legs.

Even tho it probably has more to do with Liverpool than anything.

And what a short profit that would be

The other thing I notice is all the pundits switching their story to, "If random player X was in the City system, he would be scoring as many as Haaland or more."

Would Kane, Ronaldo, etc. numbers increase? Sure... but I don't see them matching Haaland. His combination of size, quick burst, positional awareness, and finishing is so unique.

1) Foden extended!

2)

Kane wouldn't have the goal numbers but I think he'd be close and we'd still be winning.

Current logic and form would see City destroy Liverpool

However it’s Anfield and City so I thoroughly anticipate us dropping points here - hope I’m wrong

I don’t mind playing a mid table team this week.

It's becoming obvious we need a solid backup/replacement for Walker. Cancelo is great but when you need someone to shut shite down, there's just no substitute for Kyle. Saw it today. Saw it against Madrid.

Probably the worst performance of the season for De Bruyne too.

It was obvious from the start the way it would play out. The announcers talking about how THIS could turn LP season around, the VAR review, the fouls, etc. It is what it is, one single loss. Not worried about the long term effects at all.
Yes, I am salty.
