Lol I still have no idea how he got away with that against Chelsea.

He does at times. I wouldn't say he plays dirty, but he does get frustrated at times and twill get physical.

Gundogan is reportedly fit for the derby.

So who plays tomorrow in agueros place? Sane up top? Gundogan in middle with KDB up top? Same team as other games but with Iheanacho up top?

I'm kind of thinking Sane up top with Gundogan as sub.

I want it to be the same team, but with Kelechi up top.

Not sure if we'll go that route though.

Right now I'd put my money on the EPL's Player of the Month in August, Raheem up top as a false 9 and Nolito on the left with Sane or Navas on the right.

I'd be surprised if Gundogan or Sane start after coming off of injuries, but who knows.

Sane isn't a striker at all.

Obviously, I'd assume he was talking about playing him in the middle as a false nine.

I think maybe Sterling or Nolito as a false 9.

bravo has some work to do in training. Looks like it may take some time to gel, but hopefully that was just first game jitters.

It's well known that Pep thinks Sane can play up top. It's really irrelevant what Sane is or was used to playing at Schalke. The only thing that matters in team selection is where Pep thinks he can be utilized best. Obviously Iheanacho played instead. So it doesn't matter anymore.

Sane looked interesting. I'm happy about the 3 points. Team looks exhausted for a third of each game.

Bravo looked fine at first. The mistake took him out of it mentally. Also the rest of team getting tired made it impossible for him to find passes. No movement makes it hard to play it short.

We looked so good in the first half. The passing was amazing. De Bruyne was on fire until he lost steam at the end. He nearly had a hat trick.

Sane looked good, but I didn't realize he was so left-footed. Every time he had the ball on the right wing he tried to switch over to the left. I do appreciate his willingness to take on defenders instead of just stand there with the ball like Sterling but I thought he was more ambidextrous.

Bravo was a fricking disaster. Hopefully it can be attributed to poor communication on a new team, but that needs to be fixed immediately.

Just finished the game, had work this morning so couldn't watch.

Few take aways:

1. KDB was an absolute savage today, especially for the first 60 or so minutes. He was the best player on the pitch and it wasn't close.

2. I wasn't expecting United to be so surprised at how well we moved the ball. They seemed to come out really defensive and players like Bailly and Blind seemed shell shocked.

3. Too early for anything on Bravo for me.

Always great to twin the derby. I honestly thought United would win today so pretty awesome.

that was a very satisfying win given all of the big changes made recently by both clubs.

also, this subtle dig from pep after the game cracked me up:
