Agreed.
I wonder if letting Navas go to Sevilla and keeping Nasri might have been better. Once Samir showed up fat I think he was off Pep's squad list, but if he had some more time to evaluate both I think Nasri might offer more. He looked pretty good against West Ham.

Usually on loans they are off your bill.

But you guys pay way over market value on average guys so you got to eat the wages.

Not saying us or other clubs don't have big wage bills but we don't pay rotational players or even youth team players like you guys do.

certainly, but I'm pretty sure we are subsidizing everyone one of those players wages at their new clubs.

I think Navas over Nasri was strictly a defensive move. How he did in champions league was probably what Pep noticed.

I know Navas catches a lot of flack for not scoring goals and bombing 45 or so crosses straight into defenders, but the guy has a motor that few on the team have apart from Sterling.

He tracks back and he always tends to give it his all. While I'd rather him never start, I do think he will always offer some creativity, pace and play making ability off the bench that any team could use.

Yes.

The FA granted a 24-hour extension that City asked for due to today being the end of the transfer period. More news will come out in the next 24 hours.

Yes he did, David Silva also had a brace for Spain.

ETA: Aguero is expected to appeal and it would then go to a hearing.

He's physical as all get out but he's scared on ball. If Stones hadn't looked as good as he has I would be worried but I'm not.

Ota, stones, and Vinnie is decent. I guess tosin gets a few chances. Kolarov has looked good as a CB but I'm going good off on saying I'm good with him as a 4th CB. He started great last season as well.

Yaya Toure has been left out of Manchester City's squad for the Champions League group stages.

The 33-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder has yet to feature for City in a Premier League squad after the first three matches under new manager Pep Guardiola.

Toure was squeezed out by UEFA rules on the minimum number of locally trained players in European squads.

i'm sure he knew this was coming. he's going to be hard pressed to get any minutes with everyone ahead of him healthy.

more along the lines that your euro squad is at 21 again and not 25 like everyone else.
