United is stacked? Jonny Evans is getting playing time and our best midfielder is 18 years old.

The fees are what really kill you.. per the breakdown our tickets were $133 each in upper deck but after fees it came to $175 each.

Still way to much

When a ticket at Old Trafford or Anfield runs like £40 for a good seat

As money hungry as both clubs owners are they don’t bend fans over backwards at home.

This tour shite is absurd

Not currently... more like 5th.. We trimmed a good bit the past couple of years with the old guard moving on..

The prices for these friendlies are fricking laughable... but those matches sold out, so obviously many are willing to pay that much... not me..

The tickets for Philly are more than 10% cheaper, it seems. I'm kind of stunned that either ticket costs more than what I paid at Anfield last year.

Like the NBA, if I knew who was probably going to play vs. who was injured, maybe. Otherwise, I'll just fly to the UK and roll the dice.

For those asking how Columbia got the gig, the P&C covered that today:

Bc there are laws in European countries that protect fans from price gouging and in some countries like Germany with 50+1 they keep prices down

There is a reason MLS even pre Messi cost more than the EPL.

For those that are planning to go, any word on fan gatherings (Liverpool Boss Night) and/or pregame events?

I went to a Boss Night event in Munich before the UCL quarterfinal back in 2019 and it was amazing.

My United supporters club was able to get the code for $70 tickets. Upper deck on the United supporters side but I wasn’t going to go for regular price.

I said it in the United thread but is going to be hilarious watching people take this friendly seriously.

It never fails, can’t wait for the knob heads who will bring their scarves out for 90+ degree weather with 80% humidity.

Blows my mind MLS fans do this as well.

There is nothing more insufferable than an American Liverpool fan, except for a British Liverpool fan.

Sadly this will be only the second match I have seen from big teams coming over to the US (and I plan to go to England at some point, which my Everton buddy has already done a couple times). Chelsea vs PSG in Charlotte back in 2015 was way cheaper than this.. if it wasn't Williams-Brice I wouldn't be going.

Going to be a cool story to share in the future. Couldn't really pass it up despite not being a fan of either team.

That Chelsea PSG match though.. some of the names on the field that day..

Ibrahimovic
Cavani
Courtois
Hazard
Terry
Fabregas
Diego Costa

Can't imagine what sides we're going to see in Columbia in August.. the most exciting thing will probably be who is managing Liverpool. Personally betting on Xabi Alonso.
