Looked like it missed his hand and went off his upper leg.

Fair decision, def hit Konate on the arm.
Edit: Looks like it may have bounced off the ground and up to hit his hand as well.

Lucky to lose by 1.
Wanted a tie today but after watching that crap I’m happy with the 1 goal defeat.

Very fortunate for that final score, can they please get out of whatever funk that’s been haunting them?
Posted on 3/10/26 at 2:44 pm to TeddyPadillac
Yeah I think it’s a fair result
Xg was 1.44-1.28 in favor of Gala which makes it seem closer than it probably was. We definitely should’ve scored though
Team just isn’t very good right now and hard to see that changing the next few months

On the brightside, I learned how to say Galatasaray. I had been mis-pronouncing it for a few days prior

Maybe I'm naive or delusional, but I'm going to have a hard time paying $182 per ticket just to get into the game for preseason in Nashville.

I won’t do it. Especially not the way the team is right now, even if it is preseason.
I think the squad has “soft quit” on Slot.
Salah has quit on him outright, and was the first to do so.
Slot’s infatuation with Gakpo is unexplainable. His tactics play AGAINST our strengths as a squad, and they leave our back line exposed.
All in the name of trying to keep possession.
His tactics are like if Jose Mourinho decided to swear off parking the bus.
I’m sick of watching us, but I do it to myself consciously. Why do we have such a hard time cutting bait?
We shouldn’t be struggling for a Europa spot the year after a title. It is truly not a forgivable offense.

Salah didn’t quit on him. Salah is washed. He can’t beat anyone off the dribble. His shots have been horrible. Defenders want him to get the ball. Slot should tell him produce or you won’t play a full 90 anymore.
The team hasn’t soft quit. lol. Wirtz missed an opening goal opportunity that most professionals should make.
The team is not sharp at the moment, but blaming Slot is such an easy out.
Ekitike needs to be more clinical.
Salah is washed.
Gakpo is no Luis Diaz and he hasn’t produced. No argument there.
Rio has looked great at times, but is still very young.
We need Wirtz to get back in playing shape and that will improve our entire game. Our offense needs to improve so that every game doesn’t come down to a last minute outcome.
Istanbul is a difficult place to play. We gave up a cheap goal and obviously could have given up more, but we also should have scored at least 2 on our own. Coming back to Anfield next week, with no away fans, we should be able to win this tie. And then hopefully we get to make things right after losing to PSG last year.
We changed out half of our team this year and have had an injury crisis at RB. Our most expensive signing of the summer was out of shape and then as soon as he started to get it together, he had an injury.
Hopefully, EPL gets 5 spots and we make it back to UCL.

His performance last season against PSG during UCL made this very clear to see, great guy and beloved player but the writings on the wall.

All I can come up with is that he favors his Dutch players. It's apparent Gakpo's Player of the Month and spectacular play last season came from being on the opposite wing from Salah's constant double teams.

That is the ticketmaster price, before fees, unfortunately. There were a lot of tickets available as of yesterday morning. I have not checked since seeing the prices.
