Y’all are crazy. We held possession and equally had the number of dangerous chances. Great point to steal given the circumstance, but crazy to think Newcastle “deserved” it more.
It is rough on Hall, though. Crazy good game against Frimpong and Rio on the right. I think Rio has to be on the left and Munoz/‘addition yet to be finalized’ on right.

Lucky to get out with a point. Gonna be some growing pains the first few months but you can see signs of optimism. Really liked what Munoz brought as a sub

This game felt like last year. My take is that there are too many guys trying to do too much, while at the same time not really knowing what to do at all. Which causes everything to look like crap because nobody is on the same page. They need defined roles. More organization. And maybe they just need time to figure that all out. And hopefully they do, because I kept waiting for them to figure it out last year and they never did.

I've got him by the collar of his shirt in the locker room at half letting him know if another player runs past him this season when he has a 5 yard head start he's going on loan to a Club in the Championship. Just game 1 so nowhere to go for him but up right ? If he sucks again this season we need to send him to Fulham and bring in Robinson.

Anyone have a winger they can sell for €50m? Anyone?
I like Sarr. Maybe not as much upside as some of these guys but he can step right in and play in the premier league. Just don’t think he can be a focal point.

TBF we already have a couple of focal points. Szobo, Wirtz, and Gakpo (if he maintains current level).
I think Wirtz/Szobo are held back by the low levels of play supporting them currently.

Keep hoping we don’t. He has a role to play. We need depth and good squad options. He can play left wing, he can be the backup striker until ekitike is back. He can play behind the striker if need be. He’s versatile and plays pretty smart.
Maybe sell in January and or next summer depending upon how others develop and mesh.

I'd keep Gakpo as well for now, but only b/c of Ekitike's injury.
