He was talking about cramping and throw ins. Not calling back a guy from MF.

I'm jumping the gun on this I know, but I can't help but think about the CL next year and our possible targets to bolster next year's team. What do you gentlemen think is the possibility of Suarez bolting for Real Madrid? I am reading this shite everywhere I turn in regards to serious targets for certain teams and we know they come to play in terms of getting what they want in terms of cash.

So...
I can't imagine we weren't aware of how likely it was that Chelsea was to play they way they played.
Do we think Rodgers didn't have a good enough plan in place to deal with the tactics and frustration that was thrown at our players?
Or did the goal completely change everything and make us panic? The game plan and our own tactics went out the window?
I'm just having a hard time figuring out whether it was Rodgers lack of big game experience or the players freaking out and not reigning it back in?

Obviously based upon our failures the last two windows, Rodgers clearly wants at least one more winger. I expect we'll sign another outside back - Contrao would be ideal for me, but he's playing more for RM lately.
I have to think another midfielder that can protect our back 4 - unless Alberto looks like he can do it. Stevie can't play 45 games next year and its very clear Lucas just isn't up to snuff.
I don't think Suarez goes unless Real does another near Bale-like deal. That will give us plenty of money - but if so, I really hope we do it like Tottenham and buy first so that we don't get the "you just got a bunch of money" surcharge on all of our targets.

All of this is what it appeared like.

by all accounts, luis(and maybe more importantly his family) are very happy in liverpool. He wanted champions league football and got it, while racking up awards and being one of the best players in the world.(and hasn't managed to bite anyone yet
) I may be being a little optimistic, but i think he stays

Pretty good article on the additional money of champions league etc. for us.
Plus one tidbit - would you sell the naming rights of Anfield for 50 million pounds a year? How do you feel about that?
I would in a heart beat - provided that it still contain Anfield in the name. Pillsburry's Anfield or some such would be hard to swallow, but the players brought in for that 50 million would make it much easier...

No. Anfield is one of two names in the stadium that should never change. That and the Kop.
Sell the name of the other stands and make your money off of that

I think we're talking about the overall stadium name and NOT a particular stand.
so the overall place would be called something like how Arsenal is called the Emirates or City is called Etihad.

"Mercedes Benz Superdome"
But everyone will still call it Anfield, obviously. No one adds the MB before Superdome. Making some extra change could move Pool into god-tier.

A combination of both, IMO.

Never. Out of the question.

One game ended in the 94th min. one ended in the 70th, good try though.

I think the more impressive thing is that we sang You'll Never Walk Alone immediately after Chelsea scored. LFC support this year has been second to none.

I won't argue there but those pictures are a reach.

Oh I know. I couldn't resist though....
