He looks great. We look great. We're actually completing passes...on the ground!!
Side note: Shelvey is still a little too raw for my liking. I prefer Henderson in that spot and would really like to see him occupy it in the second half.
Hope Andy gets 30+ minutes. With the space on the wings, Andy would have ample opportunity to open his campaign..

Yup. And I think once he does, that will be our exact starting lineup.

I'd love to bring in someone like Walcott to replace Downing in the starting lineup, however, I think he deserves another year to claim his spot on this team.

Finally got to the coffee shop so I could access the internet again. What a fricking game. I know it was Gomel, but our movement and vision was absolutely stellar. Borini and Suarez are already playing well off of one another. Gerrard woke the hell up. Lets just hope it continues once we start facing English opposition.

Much better performance from the lads today! This is more of what I would expected to see against a side like Gomel, at Anfield.
Glad to see Borini get a goal in his home debut! Hopefully the first of many.
Suarez was a man possessed! Gave Gomel fits all evening! I love what looks to be developing between he and Gerrard. And Borini as well. Together they looked fantastic.
Much better performance from Enrique. He seemed a bit more calm than before. Perhaps that is part of the effect of knowing Dagger and Skrtel are anchoring the back? Outside of a couple lapses, the defense looked solid.
I'm calling it now, big year from Glenn Johnson! His form from Euros looks to be carrying over.
