So what's the word on this young striker we got yesterday?

I'm sure Rodgers is disappointed today, he said earlier he wanted to strengthen the attack and bring in a couple more...

He's 18. I'm not sure what kind of plans BR has for him. I hear he's on the reserves squad for now. From LFC.com:

Yesil has scored 22 goals in 26 appearances for Germany at U16, U17 and U18 level. He was second top scorer in last summer's FIFA U17 World Cup after netting six goals in Mexico.

Well, like beast said earlier... I guess there is always Michael Owen. For FREE.

I'd take him... My bitching will be over after today, and I'll be ready to fully support the mighty reds on Sunday... just very disappointed...

I'm upset with Comolli/Dalglish.
We had a great summer, despite the overreactions. Cleared the wage books dramatically and have a lot of youth coming through the ranks.

I'd def take Owen... Hopefully, our guys can hang in there until January... Still excited to see Assaidi and Sahin this weekend and of course, Allen looks to be the signing of the season... Ive seen him do nothing wrong yet... Luckily, Suarez seems to be very durable and thats good, we will need him to bang in the goals...
edit: Also, another positive is, we were able to hold on to our best players that were targeted by others... Suarez, Skrtel & Agger

Just got this text from my buddy Sal (some of you may know him), he's from Liverpool but lives here...just a text so no link.
"Rodgers left Melwood about 4 hours before Ayre. They've had a argument and Rodgers left. Ayre left Melwood about 9 o'clock 2 hours before the window closed"

Not surprised. He wanted to bring in some attackers. I like hearing that kind of thing about our manager.

Sorry, it's late. Liverpool have knocked £450k p/w off the wage bill. That was why Carroll was loaned, I would guess.

Yeah doesn't surprise me. I never thought this was Roger's fault. He said multiple times how badly we needed new bodies up front. I'm just happy he cares this much about the place he's at.
