4-6 weeks sounds about right. I don't think anyone in the media could accurately gauge it, especially since its Gerrard

Only if the infection has gotten into the bone or ligaments and causes some sort of structural damage IMO. If he is having recurring problems with staph (particularly MRSA) then he is going to have to be extremely careful with any abrasion or laceration in the future. The only way I see him walking away at this point if he can still play (and I personally think he has another 4-5 quality years in him) is if he becomes completely disillusioned with the rehab process. I know the last year has been hell for him. Selfishly, I hope he sticks it out because I'm not ready to lose one of the top 5 Reds of all time.
