I think they are. Man Utd have beaten Tottenham and Arsenal with a combined score of 11-2. They are at a +10 GD through 3 games. That is unbelievable.

Same with City. Their GD after 3 games is +9.

Like I said, they are on a different level right now. Buy into that how you will. Their goal scoring pace will without a doubt slow, but let's see by how much. It will be interesting to watch.

I think the season is going to break down into a race for 1st between United and City and a race for 3rd between Chelsea and Liverpool.

It's still very early. Remember we were in the relegation zone last year and it was further in than this, I believe.

Oh I agree. "Right now" is key. I'm talking about in the long run. When everything shakes out I think they will still be the best but not by nearly the margin everyone thinks they are after 3 games.

I agree but I think we'll have 3rd pretty well rounded up by the last 5 games. We're better than Chelsea now, and I'm fairly confident we will be by then.

I think the way Pool built themselves as a team that should dominate set pieces will solidify them as #3. If Drogba's concussion causes him to be out for a long time, then that puts them in an even better situation.

Ah, the dying embers of the transfer window. #CFC bid £8m plus Yossi for Meireles, #LFC say no, new bid likely

How do you pool fans feeling about losing Meireles. As a general rule, I don't like white tatted freaks. He reminds me of Matt Barnes for the Lakers.
Actually he's probably worse due to that retarded freaking hair

He's aging, so if the right price comes along..let him go. Our midfield is packed. I do like Raul as a Liverpool player though. He offers a nice spark.

I still think he's worth around 12M.

I WANT BENAYOUN BACK!

I like Raul...

But with Gerrard, Adam, Lucas, Henderson, Spearing & Shelvey competing for 2 spots (I know a few can play elsewhere)...I could let Raul go for the right price. I like Yossi too, as a sub.

That being said, Raul is not on high wages but if the move is so they can bring in another attacking option...I can live with it...

The portugieser wants a portugieser. Where will CFC play him and who are they going to take off the pitch. I think Benayoun is a solid player, and would fit in well again. Also, pool would gets some cash on top of it.

You say Raul is aging yet you want Yossi back.

Only way I am okay with selling Raul at this point is if we buy a creative Dutch player from Barca.

The Yossi thing is an inside joke with friends. I loved playing with him on FIFA. I like him and want him back on the squad. He is a good sub.

Like I said, if the right price comes, I wouldn't be offended if he was sold. I like him though. And want him to stay.

Anyone hearing anything about a potential Mauro Zarate loan for 4M euros with an option to buy for 16M?

I'm not sure if the 16 is on top of the 4 or total.

Yossi was a fantastic piece for Liverpool when he was there. I wouldn't be excited to see Meireles go, but if Yossi came back, I'd be fine with it.

Yossi was so fricking good at delivering a late spark off the bench.

Probably crap but an Itk on twitter is hinting at a move for Hazard.
