Are the only teams in the league throwing out the big bucks the ones owned by the PIF?

Thank you for posting this. I’m sure the other lifelong Saudi soccer fans have been disappointed in the lack of organized discussion on social media and TD.

Serious question, is there a reason why Henderson and Fabinho have taken so long to complete?

Just out of curiosity I looked up average game time temp for the league games. It’s was 85 degrees or so. Not a killer for us Louisiana gluttons for punishment, but some of those euros are in for a warm surprise.

Miami is hotter than that right now.

I think they play a lot of the matches later at night too

When I was in Qatar it was much more humid than most of SA and anything during the day in the summer was a no go

The fact they are committed to spending £17 billion on this until 2030 is scary

They are not going to fall off like China did

How long until you see the Saudi's buying their way into Champions League? 5 years? I guarantee you had that Super League happened you would have Al Whatever playing in it right now.

I'm interested in what the quality of play will be like in that league if each team has like 5 or 6 stars and the rest are complete Saudi randoms.

Does the league set the number of foreign players they're allowed to have (and thus that rule will be changed on the whim of the PIF)? Or does the Asian Federation or FIFA control that?

I apologize if my questions are remedial, still learning about all this.

Zaha did as well. He will be at Galatasaray.

There is nothing in the world that would make for a more absurd reality show than Jamie Vardy in Saudi Arabia. Unless he was executed.

Rules are for poors and the Federations love money. You know how the rest will go.

The question is how many top level players are they going to be able to poach? If they pay monopoly money for aging stars, so be it but we can only hope the prime talent stays within UEFA.

Well that’s not what Benzema said.

And when it comes to integrity, intelligence, and honesty, Benzema is the gold standard.
