we had no direct influence on FIFA choosing a world cup host where homosexuality is a crime. I also haven’t claimed we should boycott Qatar. I’m saying we shouldn’t willingly play Saudi Arabia. I really don’t understand why this is that difficult

But since FIFA chose to play the World Cup there, why are you OK with the US opting to still play in it there?

He is just jumping on the current media craze of being up in arms about the Saudi’s. If we only played countries with zero issues it would be a very small pool to pick from. It’s just popular to virtue signal about the Saudi’s right now so you can feel good about yourself
