It's the combo of Zusi/Cameron that would be too slow for the WC.

I trust Jermaine in that more defined role, and I think he's been playing well

Scapegoating aside, there were a couple of occasions where he could visibly see that he had no cover and made the decision to play a difficult pass in a tight area that left us exposed on the counter

Contrary to popular opinion, he doesn't have to nail himself between Cameron and Besler, but he has to be smarter about moving out of position when we have possession or at least communicate better when he does do it

The stat is odd because it is a positive stat about a player who was pretty shitty.
don´t tell me, tell slowflo.

Again, VERY few stats are applicable to soccer.

Agree. His passing still makes me extremely nervous.

Nearly everyone's passing is making me nervous. Jurgen is asking new things of them at an odd time. It could pay off. Could bomb.

It was better than last game, and against a better team, so that's promising. Still, we can't keep fricking up 5 yard passes.

A lot of the passing could be due to fatigue. They've been working them pretty hard at camp. **hoping that's it**

Some guy on SBI claiming that people at the game were chanting "He can't shoot, he can't score, he's jogging Jozy Altidore." I don't even want to believe that.

Nothing that happened in this game should be a huge surprise for US soccer fans though,

Actually I was very pleased with how Guzan looked and Chandler was the only true liability of our guys we expect to play real minutes.

im pretty sure the only thing reddit took from the game is that dempsey did a sweet move that went right to the keeper. except no one cares about the second part of that.

I thought he had a decent first half. I hope that was just fatigue setting in.

r/soccer is a joke. A lot of the commentators aren't American, too, and we know how much foreigners love our national team.

Do not forget that probably pointed that Jozy did not score because nothing else matters.

His spacing was terrible. Gokhan Gonul (admittedly a great player) was wreaking havoc at will on his side.

Fortunately, that requires too much thinking and group coordination.

Roundly false.

I was at work, didn't watch, but considering the club we root for, I always find it difficult to watch other teams.

Chandler just seems really lazy at times. Lots of watching the man in front of him and not even attempting to close him down. Then the giveaway that led to the PK was just awful.

Fabian was the best man on the field today.

What the hell was mix doing trying to bring that ball down with his chest instead of heading it?

Green is way out of his league

Those refs were seriously awful though. Jozy couldn't get a call
