There are so many broken records on this board.

Chandler's been so mentally out of it. All of his mistakes have been mental. Ball watching, the giveaway, etc. and he adds nothing going forward.

Brooks has been legit, and Yedlin improved a lot as it went on.

I like Beckerman over Jones in this formation too.

It was a hand ball but not deliberate. A penalty without a red card was the correct decision

I still want Evans at RB and Fabian at LB.

LB is going to be a clusterfrick.

What about Yedlin at Rb with Johnson at LB instead of Chandler?

Either that or Cameron Rb with JAB and besler at cb?

Jones has seemed to have calmed down. I am all aboard him starting in the midfield, and I have never really questioned his inclusion.

If it wasn't deliberate, then how can it be a handball if his arm is in a natural position? If you call that a handball, then it HAS to be a red card.

I agree. It wasn't like Suarez against Ghana where he just batted it down. There should be a difference in how that is treated.

Good: Jozy, Bradley, Guzan, Howard, JAB, Fabby J, Beckerman

Okay: Yedlin, Jones, Zusi, Dempsey, Mix, Cameron (penalty aside), Besler

BORNSTEIN HORRIBLE: Timmy Chandler

Beckerman was about a 7 or 7.5 today and Jones a 6.

It's not that he's awful he just doesn't fit mentally with a DM role as well as Beckerman. He panics and ends up making a bad pass. Also is out of position more than he should be.
