His transfer fee was huge. So is his buyout clause. His salary isnt though.

Yes it is. He's getting 6 million euros a year. He's signed through 2018. Monaco can easily afford more.

Plus monacos owner is worth almost 5 billion.. (per wiki it waa double that but his wife got half in divorce
