It's a logical assumption to make.

The crying needs to stop. It's over. Every time I posted valid reasoning, it was bitched at by a bunch of speculation from some weird cult that worships Cakes. So while you were mashing your keyboard with nonsense yesterday, others were posting reasonable arguments. I suggest you go back and read the threads.

By all means, please stop.

What do you consider valid reasoning and how does it differ from the people going against you?

Well for one example, we have pointed at his terrible MLS form this season. That is fact. It's not open to interpretation. He hasn't been good. The other side "knows" it's personal. Do you see it yet?

People are unhappy with a subpar 23 man selection, you are okay with, that's fine. What isn't fine is you hijacking threads and being a nonstop a-hole about it.

There are no valid reasons why Donovan isn't going to Brazil. None.

But there's no reason to just troll the board to make yourself feel better about whatever deficiencies you have as a human being.

Yes there is. His form is pitiful. This isn't a charity match, this is the World Cup.

Kind of like how you "know" it's not personal and also "know" that everybody who is scratching their head over the omission is a "whiny bitch".

For the record, I have no idea what ultimately went down. I just think Donovan, even in his current form, can provide more for us than Brad Davis can. How is that an invalid opinion that makes me a whiner?

Nope, sorry, never said I KNOW, like many here have.

The sooner you realize Davis was not competing against LD, the better. I don't know how many times Jurgen has to say this.

His form is no more terrible than Jozy in England, Dempsey last season, Jones when he goes out on loan and doesn't do much, or Omar Gonzalez right now. All of those guys were called in and played regularly in down stretches.

Much like Klinsmann you are holding Donovan to a different standard.

Jozy didn't really have anybody in better form pushing him. Jurgy also clearly explained his dip in form in the first episode of March to Brazil.

Actually, the same standard, it's the group that is crying that thinks Donovan should be on another tier.

There's that buzzword again. You clearly aren't looking for any discussion, you are trying to antagonize and troll.

What's your endgame here?

You're trying that hard to defend this decision by talking shite about Landon Donovan? How is that better than being upset that he is left out?

Again, why do we always cite current form? Why do we give a shite about Donovan's form when we don't care about everyone else's? How has Donovan not proved time and again that his current form can jump off a cliff when it comes to international competition?

Just read Jurgens's sons tweet. Obviously there was some personal friction going on between Landon and jurgen that jurgen let slip out at home. Now we have no idea how much of that could be Landon's fault, but the fact remains jurgen clearly did not view Donovan the same way he viewed other players, for whatever reasons

I just watched the press conference, hoping to ease the butthurt. Nope, still there. I hate it, but I really dislike Klinsmann right now. I hope I can get over my butthurtedness by the first match.

Beating the shite out of Ghana would be a good start.

Terrance Boyd is in great form for his club team if I recall correctly.

Wondo too.

Let me sum this up:

A large group of people here are absolutely convinced that Landon's exclusion was due to personal issues between him and Jurgen, despite them both denying publicly that this was the case.

There is another large group of people on this board that think that the decision wasn't personal but instead was due to Landon's shitty form lately.

All of us here are upset that he didn't make the squad. Put that emotion towards something more productive than bitching out your fellow soccerboarders.
