i think he just wanted to break down and went and laid down to regain his composure. I was jumping all around my living and my dad heard me screaming over the surround sound in the back yard. imagine how he felt with 50000 people screaming

I love the celebration, or lack thereof. Seems like he couldn't even believe he scored, and was just thinking to himself, "Holy shite, I just scored in the WORLD CUP!!!"

I saw an interview on ESPN with him after the game.
He said he had a dream a few nights ago that he scored in the 80th minute.

It was genuine. Lots of guys are full of shite and acting, he was truly overwhelmed. It was awesome.

It was beautiful. His reaction reminds my of when Fredy Guarin blasted that cannon shot of a goal from downtown. It was pure emotion and shock, and that's why I love the game.
