I've found myself pulling for all of the CONCACAF teams

El Tri included. I think we've been underrated for a while now. Europe is not the end all be all in football, especially in today's world.
If you're looking for a more utilitarian reason to pull for North America. World Cup performance has a very real impact on the number of teams admitted from each region.
