That was Jermaine Jones's first yellow card in four USMNT matches.
Seriously. Look it up.

lol.
JK is ABSOLUTELY hammering these guys in training and worried about fitness. Then schedules all of these games before WCQ. Adds vets that are so old they can't make it through a game without having 4 "injuries". Throw in the fact that the aren't tacticians and have to run around constantly. Alienate other vets. No continuity in any of the lineups.
That my friends = Recipe of disaster. I've always been pretty positive but i'm slowly turning sour against JK.

btw, jeff carlisle said Jozy struggled in the first half, had some service, his touch let him down, and he "needs to do better"
but he's probably just trolling the ESPN live feed.

What positives can we take from this game??
We are now experienced so the next time a top team arse rapes us we will be prepared.
We have scored more than all of Group A in UEFA against Belgium.

jozy had some chances in the first half and tried to be too cute. he was never given consistent service, however

Now I can go back to playing with Belgium on FIFA without any shame.

Wait, he has a style? I must've missed that.

Absolutely, I see what you're saying again, and I agree. If we lose a CB we can live between Omar, Besler and Cameron. If we lose a midfielder we can make due, if need a striker we can get by. We have no wing depth, and no fullback depth. We lack severely in some areas, and can be halfass serviceable in others. We have had unfortunate luck imo in our weak areas, and are seeing the results of that. Our stars such as Deuce, MB90, Donovan, are such much more above everyone else that their loss or absence is felt much much greater than other countries losing their studs, because the dropped between their 1 and 2 isn't near as drastic as ours.

Yeah that's all I'm saying. The drop off is startling.

JK is nothing without low. As much as it pains me to admit that now, I haven't seen much to not come to that conclusion

The US have better players than that shite we just watched. We have a core group of players, just don't have a team.

Also tonight showed me Tim Howard>>Guzan. Guzan is a solid back up and could start when needed.

I understand that, and I'm not blaming him for the midfield not giving him the kind of service he gets in Holland.
He's one of our best players, and if he doesn't start to score for us, we're not going to be very good b/c we don't have a replacement for him.
Btw, BP&G, ten years ago I would have gone back and forth with you and cared that you are mocking me, but really, what's the point?
Lots of people who do know about soccer think that Jozy needs to take it more upon himself to make an impact in these games when he isn't getting service. That's all I'm saying. You evidently disagree. That's fine.

Look at our guys postgame, they don't give a frick, it's a friendly, all that matters is the Hex right now. We have lots of work to do before brazil '14 and we have a year to do it, this a process, one step at a time. Keep perspective.

That was the kind of match that is just deflating.
There's a million inappropriate Nazi jokes I could make about the upcoming match with Germany, but I'll refrain.
