He went from barely speaking English at the beginning of the World Cup to now using American expressions and nuanced language. I vote for Zatlan for most improved English speaker. Good for Zatlan. Zatlan good at whatever Zatlan want to be good at.

He's always spoke good english. He's just more comfortable in front of camera now, which is normal for guys speaking in their second language.

He still says nothing of substance in terms of his analysis. The only thing he brings to the broadcast is the cache of his Zlatan "god" character.

I find it curious how many top ex coaches and players in every sport say nothing of real substance. Nothing beyond what most normal fans could add and often not as much.

I assume most are seeing interesting details but maybe not.

Zlatan and Henry are not really there for deep analysis.

You can tell by Henry's face he's disagreeing or thinking of saying something with more substance but ends up just seeming smug or dismissive.

You clearly must not listen to snoozeball (baseball) commentators. This is the norm.

Rebecca and Thierry are there for a reason.

They’re primarily there for being colorful personalities with some analysis for the general public. It’s not that deep.

Henry is there for deep analysis. And he provides it.

He did have one great quote when someone was whining about something or other - I don't remember what it was.

"Losers make excuses, winners find solutions."

He's actually really good on the set. I enjoy him

He seems to be genuine in his enthusiasm for the subject matter he talks about in the segments too. Not just when they talk about Mexico.

I know we never want Mexico to do well, but it was tough seeing how bummed out he was after the England game. During the pregame/halftime you could tell how giddy he was when talking on the pregame show. He was speaking so fast he was so excited lol

Then after the match he was pretty bummed out.

I've really enjoyed him and Seerdorf as analysts. Obi isnt bad either.
