If they would get a top 8 fifa ranking, that would go a long way towards 2014 being a successful world cup for them.

Everbody eats mussels. Their beer is unique.

They hate each other. Flemish, French, no identity. Won't get past the final 8.
Having spent a month in Belgium and seen almost the entire country, it is amazing that Belgium is still one country. The French and Flemish sections HATE one another. The small German portion is completely forgotten about.
I would expect Belgium to eventually unravel into two separate countries.

As a Chelsea guy, Belgium is my default #2 favorite national team.
Also, best beer in the world.

They probably won't, which would lead to one scary group that I hope the US can avoid and that Mexico can find its way into!

Their strong Belgian ales are truly special.

yup, I picked Chelsea as my team to follow, just getting into EPL really this year, with the Belgians they have it was an easy choice.
Obviously the US is my national team, but if we arent playing Belgium I'm rooting for them, being 50% Belgian doesn't hurt either

Who knew Belgium and Alabama had something in common?

Agree. Toyed with transposing the two but confused myself with a food power ranking.
I can support your change.

I don't get it, they have won shite, and only one player has won shite at a league level?
Posted on 8/24/13 at 11:44 pm to j1897
Just about every single one of them is a key player for a top 7 team in the PL other than a couple that are playing well elsewhere and they are all young for the most part.
They are leading their WCQ group too.

They have a +11 goal differential in their 7 games in qualifying against Croatia, Serbia, Wales, Macedonia, and Scotland. Not a super strong group, but not terrible either
