2016 Euros is a better shout, quarter finals would be huge for them..you can do this sort of list for a quite a few teams and think they are world beaters.

I've been following Belgium since WCQs started since I am (partially) of Belgian descent and they have performed great. Don't be surprised when they go far in Brazil.

Could see them pull an Uruguay and make the semi's when not many people are thinking of them. The run will probably stop there though

Komps has really helped the cultural identity thing. I believe he speaks all three major languages. It definitely has hurt them before, and it still is a huge, huge issues. However, I think this is probably the most unified team/system that it has ever been.
