I thought Dempsey did well for a lot of the game too, he had more energy than I've seen from him a while. Cakes had a bad game.

I only saw the final 20, but Cakes looked his age and even older imo

Is a ten year fixture. Holy shite that kid is good. I thought Lichaj and Bradley were really good as well.

He did look a little tired. His set pieces were poor and he misfired on some shots he normally would have taken better. El Chosen Juan is outstanding though, what a player that guy is. I pray that Bornstein gets lost on the way home and gets sold into some sort of human trafficking in Mexico.

From my vantage point, he was the worst player on the pitch. My entire section seemed to come to the same conclusion.

Just a question, but why was Demerit subbed early on? Was he injured?

this is why I voted for you in the OT as poster of the year

He may be better as a midfielder than a defender but I really love his work ethic, speed, and ability to send a ball in. Lichaj looked fine. Bradley played much better than he did against Argentina. I would have rathered seeing Mixx over Kljestan though.

I agree. Chandler is a beast. He has his ticket punched IMO.

He shat the bed on two perfect opportunities to set up goals. It was like Mila Kunis trying to blow you and you farting in her face.

He definitely deserves to be there. Also, he looks just like the dude from Coach Carter and Cousin Skeeter

I thought Ream was okay. Little too casual with the ball in the penalty area, but that's better than just panicking and booting it every time. Actually allowed for some counterattacks. Chandler was outstanding and Lichaj was also quite good.
Bornstein sucked, but he was the only true liability out there for us. Edu was also shitty today. Jones had one terrible turnover but was otherwise solid and almost had a last minute.
Dempsey was awesome in the first half, and that fricking butcher, number 13 should have been sent off early in the first half.
Jozy didn't do as well as I hoped either, but it was a solid performance by the team, we outplayed a very good team, and the youngsters all looked good.

It's a bit annoying that we lost given the fact that we really outplayed them, we just weren't quite good enough in the final 3rd. I definitely don't have a bad feeling about the game though.

Ream was hitting midfielders and forwards 40 yards down the field on a dead run consistently. Maybe he didn't play his best, but his talent was obvious, and compared to our other options he's fantastic.

Agreed. But the keeper made two ridiculous saves.
Bradley's rocket was great. I am very optimistic at this point. TIMMAY!!!

Who is that prick, number 13?
Also, can Lichaj play left back? If so, this US defense in 2014 could be one of the best we have ever had, with basically the whole midfield coming back.
