Well, I know where I’m gonna be in nine months...

Can I be wet during that and still claim rape?

Sheesh, man.

My God I just watched it at least 20 times in a row.

And idk who the announcers were, but they certainly did that goal justice.

The fact that that's even a discussion shows you how good this crop of young players is.

2026 will be out best chance ever to win a world cup.

On our home soil with this generation entering its prime.

While I'll certainly take any type of World Cup glory under any circumstance, if USA ever does wins one, I kind of hope it's not on home soil for some reason.

Yeah, that'd be cool but I'm just pointing out how favorable things could be for us in 2026.

we’ll need some of the young guys on the back line to progress mightily between now and then.

but our midfield/front 3 will probably the best in federation history by then

Gregg

He is what he is. An awful coach that will squander this talent. On the positive side he'll be gone by the time this group is really in their prime. I look at 2022 WC as a transition period. It would be a travesty to miss the tournament, but I don't really expect us to do anything when we get there.

Pulisic, Reyna, Adams, Dest, Mckennie, Sargent, Weah should form the strongest core group of players we've ever had for the 2026 world cup. Those guys will all be in the prime of their careers with 6-8 years of experience in Europe. There isn't a chance in hell that Greg is still around in 6 years. I just hope that the next hire isn't completely fricked, because I think some big name coaches would be willing to take the job with that group to work with

You know his brother is the CEO, right?

I bet if we just make it to the World Cup in 2022, the USSF is going to be like "Well, this was clearly an improvement from 2018, so here's an extension for another cycle, Gregg."

I was watching TyC out of Argentina today and you would think that Gio playing for Argentina is already a done deal. It was pretty funny.

If it didn't mean a deathblow to the USMNT, my sick sense of humor would allow me to laugh at the idea of him choosing England since he was born there, when you consider how many players we've cap-tied because of that.

This is my biggest fear. That greggggg will be able to ride the wave of talent as it matures in age. Winning just enough to keep the heat off, but underperforming with a core group of talented players. Never reaching their potential.

If he’s still around after 2022 I’ll probably then quit the USMNT. That said, assuming we make the 2022 WC, I have a hard time believing we’d advance out of group stage, unless we somehow snuck in to the easiest group ever, And if we don’t advance dude will surely be gone.
