Good grief…. Enjoy the win for fricks sake
I think the thread is stupid but we had a dipshit in the game thread post "this is why birthright citizenship is good!!" after Balogun scored.

Could you imagine the atmosphere if the national team played in a city known for actually embracing America and our mutual observance of freedom? Quit playing in these cities that routinely get taken over by Mexican fans in home US-Mexican friendlies. San Fran and Seattle, Boston all hate what we are and are embarrassed by our flag. frick em.
Just stick to Jaxon’s travel ball team.

Was at the game against Turkey in LA and the atmosphere was surreal. Of the 70k in attendance probably 65k were Americans. Everyone around me belted out the anthem, chanted USA, and cheered for goals. White, black, Hispanic, Asian, it didn’t matter. For 90 minutes no other bullshite mattered but supporting our lads in red, white, and blue.

There won't be a better atmosphere for Monday's game than Seattle.
I'm an old and Seattle has been a great soccer city for a while.
Coached for a club team in the 80's and they brought in a group from Seattle that put on coaches clinics. There were' coaches/players from Europe and South America, it was an incredible experience.
At that time there was a group in Seattle that was really pushing the growth of the game.
They knew what they were doiing choosing this site, it's gonna be lit.

You really watched that game and thought it was lacking patriotism?

I’d suggest taking a look in the mirror and not having a Muslim name like Shaman IMO FWIW

You think shamoan is a Muslim name???? lol. Village idiot identified.
Posted on 7/1/26 at 10:36 pm to Shamoan
Did Allah tell you to say that???

If Allah is your wife’s name, then yes, she did.

A game at Ohio Stadium in Columbus would have been insane

Say what you want, but historically, USA support hasn’t been overwhelming vs a few concacaf teams in these cities.

Yes, deep red states and cities are known for their love of soccer. Should have played this game in an awesome destination city like OKC.

Hey, it’s the home of 3 Olympics sports in two summers!

I attended the USA vs Australia match in Seattle and I haven’t experienced such an electric sporting atmosphere since the Saints hosted the Vikings in the nfc championship.
Now I do agree that tonight’s fans in San Fran sucked a massive one

Yes, patriotic enthusiasm blooms from (checks notes) Seattle and San Francisco.

Did you not even watch the game tonight? Or the last game in Seattle vs. Australia?
Posted on 7/1/26 at 11:23 pm to mattz1122
Seattle was great, tonight was ok, probably should be better. Imagine what it would be like in a city that supported American values.
Do you think Seattle and San Francisco are generally pro-American cities (patriotic, American flag-waving, red, white, blue)?

Other than Columbus all stadiums get taken over by the Mexicans.
What more of an atmosphere are you looking for?
