If he doesn't fall the second someone gets within 2 feet of him the game isn't very realistic.

I will say though... The goalies suck in this years game.

I disagree. I've seen keepers save shots they'd have let in every time in the past games. They had to nerf them after the demo because they were too damn good.

Side note, I made around 50,000-60,000 coins last night in FUT quick flipping players. I got Remy, Podolski, and Mirallas for my BPL team. I'm about to sweat hard. I'm not proud of it, but to hell with it.

Oh, and Eddie Johnson is still the sickest American player in FUT for the second year in a row. It's ridiculous.

Agreed. While they do let some shots slip by, they make some great saves.

Maybe its just on clubs, but you can't control the goalie anymore and he won't leave the posts....

It's miserable to watch a guy thruball it and not have the goalie come out.

I find that the ones that do slip by usually aren't even that debatable. I mean, I've seen a few that are questionable, but overall, it's usually just a keeper that's been legitimately beaten.

If it's Pro Clubs that you're talking about, it plays differently. The keeper isn't controlled, I don't think. I played one, and it was a fast-break scorefest. I'm avoiding that until it gets patched. I haven't been into it much in years anyway.

No problem, man. I'm always down to dish out FIFA tips. That said, I'm not sure I'm qualified to give tips today. I'm getting crushed, which sucks because I'm supposed to do my "Drunken Race to Div. 1" on Twitch. Every goal scored against me in a match leads to drinking, and every time I score, I get to take a break until I feel like drinking again. Basically, it's a really lame excuse to drink and play FIFA, but I got viewers last year the only time I did it. I just hope it's not a day like today.

Today, the game is infuriating me. I keep getting matched up against Italian super teams, which have always been my weakness because they never lose the ball and everyone passes like god damned Iniesta. I don't subscribe to the "Scripting" shite, but sometimes, I completely understand why that'd be something people believe for FUT. My team is suddenly slow as molasses, and earlier, I actually called a goal for the opponent. I know it's probably me, but Jesus Christ. It's annoying to constantly go 3-1-0 to get up to a title win and then lose the next 4 before finally winning the title.

Rant over. Also, if anyone's playing on PC, make sure to add me (Origin: NotZachari). I can give you transfer pile bonuses and shite, and I tend to give away expensive players (this year it's just a coin trade, but it's all the same really) when I get tired of a squad. I really need some PC friends this year for some friendlies. Yeah, I'm bribing you assholes here.

There are games where it just feels like you are playing your opponent and playing FIFA. You can just tell when you're going to concede/lose some games.

Yeah, I feel that way as well. I was close to a draw, and suddenly, my players started barely putting any power on the ball when passing and clearances were lofting up. My girlfriend came in to ask me what I wanted for lunch, and I looked at her and said "See how slow and lazy my players look? I bet they score before the 85th minute. They'll get a cheap corner and score on a stupid header." She's used to my FIFA addiction and me being stupid over it, and she said, "Oh stop yourself, just keep the ball." I responded that I couldn't help it and it was inevitable. Sure enough, as she says she's going downstairs, they get a corner in the 83rd minute. I covered everyone in the box. That didn't stop this guy's CB from sprinting out of the box off of the deflection and head it from around 25 yards out. shite came off his head like a rocket. My girlfriend was like "Wow, you called it. Going to be one of those FIFA days, eh? I'll make you a drink." So here I am having a drink at 3PM because a video game has me stressed out.

FIFA Ultimate Team

Very fun and very frustrating. Basically you build your dream team. You make coins from playing matches (You get more for winning/winning big). If you win your division or get promoted you get a coin bonus. You can use the coins to buy packs (don't do this. you won't get good players). Or you can buy players that other people have put up for auction. It's tough if you've never played before or if you didn't do the preorder where you get gold packs, but it's more rewarding. You start with a crap team and build your way up into a superpower (Hopefully). Your players link up and play better together if they're from the same country or league.

It's a "card game" where you put together and play with a team. You have to put together a decent squad with good chemistry. Chemistry is boosted by linking players with similar nationalities, leagues, or for a perfect link, same clubs. You get +1 for league, +1 for nationality, and +1 from the manager's league and nationality. With perfect chemistry, you can give players Chemistry Styles to improve certain aspects of their game, but only when there is good chemistry. 10 chemistry for a player gives him a big boost in play. With skill of the players even, a decent team with perfect chemistry will beat (in most cases) a team that's a little better with horrible chemistry. To get cards, you play the market or open packs.

I personally got really good at trading. From 10PM to now, I got around 80,000 coins from trading. I bought a bunch of Rare Gold players from the BPL. The best players are more expensive, and they have in-form cards released only for a week for players who have insane games. Ronaldo scored a hat trick so he got an in-form this week, which you're more likely to win the lottery than packing. That card would probably be worth millions of coins. I got a Third In-Form Eden Hazard card so it was his in-form stats boosted twice more. It was worth like 2 million coins, and I flipped out when I got it. It's basically like Pokemon cards with a FIFA theme, but you actually pick your formations, players, kits, stadia, and play with your team. It's ultra addicting. They released it for Madden this year, and all of my friends are addicted to it. It's all about micro-managing your team and making improvements to get better. There's also a web and iOS app out to allow you to trade and stuff when you're not playing.

For example, this year I'm starting with a BPL team. I started with a few shite players with Lacazette (who is terrible for my chemistry, but screw it), but now I've got Remy, Mirallas, Podolski, Ramsey, De Gea, and few others after trading a ton. My chemistry and team skill is going up pretty quick. You can have multiple squads too. Last year, I had full top-tier BPL, Bundesliga (Robben was god), La Liga, Serie A, MLS, and USA squads. My BPL squad was my main, but my Serie A team really wrecked for a while so I played with that.

It really is the best and worst thing to happen to FIFA. Normal Seasons seems dull, but I get too hooked on FUT. Basically, you build the best team you can using coins from matches and trading, and you play with that team. I scout players on FUThead and take mental notes on what they're good at for later squads I may build. It's incredibly in-depth. If you like manager mode, you'll enjoy FUT. It's just getting over that initial shite squad stage that sucks.

I used to think so, but I've found that for some reason my team plays better after one or two of them. Plus, you still get coins, and matches aren't as intense until you get to Ultimate difficulty. I love going into offline matches to try out a new squad, formation, or when I add a new player. Also, it can allow you to really get used to your team's abilities. I always recommend playing 1 during a FUT session.

Another big positive I'm seeing in 15 compared to years past: Even on higher difficulties, the CPU actually fouls you a decent bit and gets cards.

I know. It. Is. AWESOME.

Except for being a little excessive in the box. I think I've seen more reds in the box than yellows on the AI
