I'm very close to buying a PS4 just for FIFA now.

Do it. That's what I did, and the only games I'm thinking about getting in the near future are NBA 2K and WWE 2K.

Yeah my PS3 died a month or so ago. I plan on getting a PS4 around the holidays after saving up and getting some credit card points for gift cards. Can't justify that purchase right now even though I really have the itch now

So what is going to be the one song from this year's game that will be stuck in your head for days?

My early pick is the weird "Sunshine" song.

I'm not sure what mine is yet. Last year it was the German song and CHVRCHES hits.

I bet Zlatan is faster than both Jon Terry and Cahill but how is he still faster than both even if I have the angle on him? Zlatan gonna Zlatan. It's his world and I'm just living in it

Anybody know why they did away with the FUT Web App if you haven't purchased the game yet? I'm planning on buying it soon, but they're killing me. I can't get a head start until I have the game and set up a security question on ultimate team on the console

It's basically an extension of ultimate team. It allows you to buy/sell players, get packs, fiddle with your squads, etc on your computer or mobile phone.

In previous years you could start ultimate team on your computer before the game came out and open your packs there, but they did away with it this year. It's really frustrating because I'm waiting a bit to purchase the game and I'm getting left behind.

SCH, you have this on PS4? If so, do you have EU account?

The iPhone app is clutch, too. Bought a rare Dzeko card and Kolarov today while sitting in class.

80-rated team with 100 chemistry already.

I would often stash a lot of coins and then spend all day in class opening packs. Like if I was able to get to class on Friday morning, that meant I could open up a lot of packs. Yes, I'm unemployed.

Post from someone on basic strategy when you are first starting out with FUT. I didn't know you could play single player with you're FUT squad, so that seems pretty cool. Everyone agree with his post?

quote:

I'm not an expert (first Fifa fut) but from the experience I've had so far you can gain a lot of coins by playing offline single player seasons (and at least the beginner offline single player tournament - you get a gold pack I think for winning also).

The key is to use your bronze starter squad. They're free and the computer is very easy on beginner. I think you get about 450? coins per match if you can score 5 goals. You get 200 for 5 goals.

The starter players have a ton of contract games so it's just free coins for the time you spend playing.

After you get bored of that and want to go online I've read another suggestion is to make gold "discard squads". It's a squad where you spend 300-350 per gold player to create a team of 11 and then play out the contracts (7 games?) and then quick sell the cards for ~300 each. You lose 50 coins per but because you played 7 games you end up with a net gain. This lets you avoid having to spend money on contracts and fitness cards which are more than 300.

Then once you've stock piled some coins you can play the market or start building the squad you really want.

To help with contracts you can buy managers with +% negotiation and keep them in your club to stack the % to a max of 50% even though you just have the 1 "equiped" (I read this was possible in 14, I don't know about 15 though!). If it works in 15 then it'll give you more bang for your buck when you do have to use contracts on players. And since they can be expensive you wanna save those contracts for your "main" squad.

For fitness I read a suggestion that you can play offline single player games and bench your low fitness players. This will allow them to regenerate their fitness.

Comes from a guy who admits he's no expert. But all seems like pretty decent advise.

that's pretty much what i do. id say i spend about 10,000 coins on my discard squad, though. then you just play with that team and buy your ideal squad one by one. your ideal squad will take a while, but you can build a team that can compete with absolutely anyone in a couple days.

by the time you are done you will have 2 squads that you enjoy. one will most likely be your main squad that you use the majority of the time and the other is your fitness squad. when the main team needs rest, you play with the fitness squad. i usually alternate 2 games to 1 with that set up.

How is it possible to put both Johnson and yeldin on the pitch together without losing chemistry?
They are both listed as RB
